Northwestern University’s Segal Design Institute is pleased to host the second annual Design:Chicago seminar. Design:Chicago is an opportunity for design experts from throughout the Chicago area to gather and discuss the increasing prominence of design in our region.
We are pleased to welcome design professionals from Bruce Mau Design, Herbst LaZar Bell, IDEO, Institute of Design/IIT, Jerome Caruso Design, Motorola, Northwestern University, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and the University of Illinois at Chicago
It is especially fitting that Design:Chicago will be held in recognition of Gordon and Carole Segal, whose generous gift established the Segal Design Institute last year. The Institute will significantly expand the University’s existing undergraduate design curriculum in the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, support the development of new master’s degree programs, and fund research on design.
There is no charge for attendance at Design:Chicago, but space is limited and reservations will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis, so please register early. We look forward to seeing you there.
